Honda displayed their new design-research vehicle the Honda CR-Z hybrid at the North American Auto Show on January 13, 2008. The CR-Z is a gas-electric hybrid 2+2 seater and its letters CR-Z stand for "Compact Renaissance Zero", which is intended to inspire that we are today in a new age of design technology for compact vehicles. The CR-Z made its world debut as a design vehicle at the 40th Tokyo Motor Show in November of last year.
The CR-Z has an oversize front grill, 19 inch wheels, LED headlights, and an advanced technology exterior sports car appearance. For the interior, Honda has created a light weight look, with the seats covered with mesh fabrics integrated with a minimal weight supporting framework, The mesh material allows for sunlight to give more light to the interior of the vehicle.
