CleanEquity and CleanTech Investments
Monaco hosted the international investment community for the Clean Equity (CleanEquity) Monaco Conference held on February 20-21, 2008 at Le Sporting d'Hiver. This was the first time the Clean Equity Monaco event was run, and it brought CleanTech investors and financial institutions together to meet the emerging environmental technology companies. Innovator Capital organised the Conference and it was held in the same period as the Special Session of the UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme) Governing Council / Global Ministerial Environment Forum in Monaco (February 20-22 2008). Financial institutions and private investors were given an opportunity to explore investing in the companies in attendance, with group presentation sessions and booked one to one company meetings organised. Investment sectors on the agenda were Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Clean Technology (CleanTech), Clean Air, Clean Environment and Other Alternative Energies. The Presenting companies were: Zeobond, Skywater, Enova, GTE, US Geothermal Inc, ZBB Energy Corporation, Acta, Polaris, Clean Diesel Technologies, Bio Pure, ZDWT, Sabien, Think Global, Zenergy Power, orege, Austrian WindPower, SolarEmpower, itm power, finaxo environment, Ener1, Clear Skies Group, VRB Power Systems, EcoInvest, Axion Power International Inc., GlobalGreen Solutions, IQ POWER, THENERGO, O2 Diesel, aaer, solarcentury, Flora Eco Power, heliocentris, Surfect Technologies, BGI, and SWISS TUVAG.
